The end tanks of the Intercooler are also Alloy so will also hold a higher level of boost, the thicker core offers vastly improved cooling capacity The Welded Alloy Pipes are 51mm and fit perfectly in place of the stock turbo pipes **This kit consists of:** - Darkside Developments Alloy Front Mount Intercooler - Darkside Developments Alloy Pipe Kit with MAP Sensor Boss - Darkside Developments Silicone Hoses - Darkside Developments Turbo Clip Adapter (Optional) - Stainless Steel Clamps The EGR Delete to be used with this kit is listed here - https://www.darksidedevelopments.co.uk/products/darkside-1-9-8v-tdi-pd130-pd150-egr-delete-race-pipe-51mm.html\ This will fit the following vehicles with the 1.9 8v TDi Engine:\ VW Golf Mk4 - ASZ 130\ VW Bora / Jetta - ASZ 130 This will also fit US SPEC - BEW 100 engines with the addition of a Euro Crash Bar\ **THIS WILL NOT FIT THE BEETLE** Intercooler Dimensions - Core Size - 500mm x 235mm x 60mm - Overall Height - 235mm - Overall Length - 640mm The reason for the price increase when removing the EGR Valve is because we include our own custom pipe from the Alloy Pipework to the EGR Delete, where as when retaining the EGR Valve you keep the Stock Pipe We have a full fitting guide available for this Kit We also have a Side Mount Intercooler Kit, that is listed here: https://www.darksidedevelopments.co.uk/products/upgraded-side-mount-intercooler-kit-for-1-9-tdi-pd130-asz-and-us-spec-bewengine.html This kit will not fit the PD130 ASZ Seat Ibiza / VW Polo and Skoda Fabia, the kit for these vehicles can be found here: https://www.darksidedevelopments.co.uk/products/hard-pipework-kit-for-seat-ibiza-vw-polo-skoda-fabia-with-seatsport-fmic.html https://www.darksidedevelopments.co.uk/products/seatsport-ibiza-cupra-intercooler-for-seat-ibiza-vw-polo-skoda-fabia.html All the silicones included in the kit may require slight trimming to suit your set up, these are left long to take in to consideration tolerances between cars\ We now offer a range of Silicone Colours - Black Silicones are in stock where as the other colours are special order and may take up to 1 week to dispatch\ THIS PIPE KIT WILL NOT FIT VEHICLES WITH XENON HEADLIGHTS AND HEADLIGHT WASHER SYSTEM (Sometimes the turbo clip can be quite tight to push in due the tolerances we have them machined to. We have found that warming the turbo compressor housing with a heat gun helps the clip push in) - **Materials:** Silicone - **Materials:** Aluminum - **Motorization:** 1.9 TDI (130 hp) - **Make:** VOLKSWAGEN - **Model:** Golf IV (10/1997 - 05/2004) - **Model:** Bora (1J2) (09/1998 - 05/2005) - **Model:** Jetta IV (1J) (1999 - 07/2005) - **Product Range :** Engine - **Engine** Intercooler/Exchanger Compatible vehicles (3) VOLKSWAGEN (3) ▼ | Model | Engine | Fuel | Displacement | Power | Years | | --- | --- | --- | --- | --- | --- | | Bora (1J2) (09/1998 - 05/2005) | 1.9 TDI (130 cv) | diesel | 1900 cc | 130 hp | 1998-2005 | | Golf IV (1J) (10/1997 - 05/2004) | 1.9 TDI (130 cv) | diesel | 1900 cc | 130 hp | 1997-2004 | | Jetta IV (1J) (1999 - 07/2005) | 1.9 TDI (130 cv) | diesel | 1900 cc | 130 hp | 1999-2005 | #### Related Products ![Darkside developments](https://dynaparts.fr/img/m/128-fabricant.png) Ref: DSD1353-DEC3 Estimated restock lead time → 20/11/2026 ### [FAP Darkside replacement for VOLKSWAGEN Jetta V (1K) (08/2005 - 10/2010)](https://dynaparts.fr/en/our-darkside-products/168394-fap-darkside-replacement-for-volkswagen-jetta-v-1k-08-2005-10-2010.html) Darkside Developments DPF replacement for VAG Group vehicles equipped with 1.9 8v TDi (BLS & BRM) and 2.0 8v TDi (BMP / BMM) engines. 611,68 € Rating: (0) [View product](https://dynaparts.fr/en/our-darkside-products/168394-fap-darkside-replacement-for-volkswagen-jetta-v-1k-08-2005-10-2010.html) ![Darkside developments](https://dynaparts.fr/img/m/128-fabricant.png) Ref: DSD1414 Estimated restock lead time → 20/11/2026 ### [Downpipe + Decata Darkside for VAG 1.9TDI Quattro](https://dynaparts.fr/en/our-darkside-products/168397-downpipe-decata-darkside-for-vag-19tdi-quattro.html) Downpipe + Decata Darkside Developments for VAG 1.9TDI Quattro 4motion 698,90 € Rating: (0) ![Darkside developments](https://dynaparts.fr/img/m/128-fabricant.png) Ref: DSD1586.1 Estimated restock lead time → 20/11/2026 ### [FAP Darkside Replacement for VW Carrier](https://dynaparts.fr/en/our-darkside-products/170450-fap-darkside-replacement-for-vw-carrier.html) Replacement DPF Darkside Developments for Volkswagen Transporter 2.5TDI T5 BNZ or BPC 660,48 € Rating: (0) ![Darkside developments](https://dynaparts.fr/img/m/128-fabricant.png) Ref: DSD1709 Estimated restock lead time → 20/11/2026 ### [FAP Darkside Replacement for VW Carrier](https://dynaparts.fr/en/our-darkside-products/175891-fap-darkside-replacement-for-vw-carrier.html) Replacement DPF Darkside Developments for Volkswagen Transporter 2.5TDI T5 AXD, BLJ, AXE 698,90 € Rating: (0) ![Darkside developments](https://dynaparts.fr/img/m/128-fabricant.png) Ref: DSD1498 Estimated restock lead time → 20/11/2026 ### [FAP Darkside Replacement for VW Carrier T5 2.0TDI CR](https://dynaparts.fr/en/our-darkside-products/193556-fap-darkside-replacement-for-vw-carrier-t5-20tdi-cr.html) FAP Darkside Replacement for VW Carrier T5 T5.1 2.0TDI CR 679,69 € Rating: (0) [View product](https://dynaparts.fr/en/our-darkside-products/193556-fap-darkside-replacement-for-vw-carrier-t5-20tdi-cr.html) ![Darkside developments](https://dynaparts.fr/img/m/128-fabricant.png) Ref: DSD1808 Estimated restock lead time → 20/11/2026 ### [Intercooler large volume Darkside 2.7/3.0TDI VAG](https://dynaparts.fr/en/our-darkside-products/208586-intercooler-large-volume-darkside-27-30tdi-vag.html) Intercooler large volume 2.7/3.0TDI 891,05 € Rating: (0) ![Darkside developments](https://dynaparts.fr/img/m/128-fabricant.png) Ref: DSD5058 Estimated restock lead time → 20/11/2026 ### [Downpipe DeFAP Darkside for 2.7/3.0 TDI VAG](https://dynaparts.fr/en/pieces-auto-audi-a4b7-30/208587-downpipe-defap-darkside-for-27-30-tdi-vag.html) 727,73 € Rating: (0) ![Darkside developments](https://dynaparts.fr/img/m/128-fabricant.png) Ref: DSD1387 Estimated restock lead time → 20/11/2026 ### [Defap Darkside for Audi A4 2.0TDI 8v](https://dynaparts.fr/en/our-darkside-products/212143-defap-darkside-for-audi-a4-20tdi-8v.html) Darkside stainless steel DPF delete pipe for Audi A4 2.0TDI 8v, Cabriolet, BPW engine code 140hp.
