The Forge Motorsport spring kit (reference T2-049) is essential for precisely adjusting your engine's boost pressure. This kit is specifically designed for FMactund type diaphragm actuators (wastegates).
Why change your Wastegate springs?
The internal spring of the actuator determines your turbo's base pressure. If you are increasing your vehicle's power (Stage 1, 2, or 3), a stiffer spring is often necessary to maintain the target boost and prevent the wastegate from opening prematurely due to backpressure.

Pressure Guide:
Each color corresponds to a specific pressure range. Please note that these values are base estimates before fine-tuning:
- Green – 10 psi (0.7 bar)
- Purple – 13 psi (0.9 bar)
- Yellow – 15 psi (1.0 bar)
- Blue – 18 psi (1.2 bar)
- Red – 20 psi (1.4 bar)
Compatibility and Installation
This spring kit is strictly reserved for Forge Motorsport wastegates using a diaphragm (FMactund series). It is not compatible with piston-type wastegates.
