Die Seitenstreben werden paarweise verkauft, damit die linke und die rechte Fahrzeugseite ausgestattet werden können.
Einige Streben, insbesondere Innenstreben, erfordern Bohrungen zur Befestigung. Dies gilt auch für einige Motorraumstreben, die unter der Windschutzscheibenöffnung hindurchgeführt werden müssen, wofür Blech ausgeschnitten werden muss.
