Dump valves and durites, how useful?

What is the usefulness of durites and dump valves?

We are often asked for the usefulness of durites and dump valves.

I'm taking a few minutes to give you information about it.

These two parts are sometimes on the same circuit, as on turbo vehicles. In any case, dump valves are only mounted on turbo-equipped vehicles.

The dump valve is a discharge valve that releases the air contained in the turbo overpower circuit when you drop the accelerator pedal. It's a double goal. Avoid that the turbo does not take a "cattle of ram" at the deceleration, but also maintain a perfect sealing at the load-mounted pressure. Changing the dump valve by a reinforced has a meaning.

It's like durites. The durites of the turbo as a cooling circuit can allow you to keep the pressure.

The durites of the turbo placed before the turbo are sometimes too weak in a reprogramming, as they crash like an empty plastic bottle in which the air is sucked. She collapses. Conversely after the turbo, they swell under pressure.

The installation of silicone durites or silicone/alu mix allows you once again to keep the pressure properly and avoid bursting.

Thus, it can be concluded that dump valves, such as durites, are elements of the engine's air circuit fiabilisation, but are not elements that gain power.

They keep you from losing it; and it is already a sacred job ;)
