Mixing exhaust marks is possible?

Do you have an original or stainless steel exhaust and want to mix the marks? We're trying to enlighten you.

We are regularly asked:

"I have a line of this "mark", and I would like to put a sport cata to it, may I?"

In the absolute, yes.

An exhaust is made of "natural" sections. Often manufacturers design their cat-back or downpipes to replace an original section. So, for example, if you take a cat-back, it will come to be fixed on the original catalyst. It is therefore compatible with the rest of the original line. If you want to continue in the modification of the line, it will be enough for you to take a decatalyser/catalyst of any brand, because it even sets itself instead of a piece of origin and connects to a "natural" location of the line.

So you can mix the brands.

With a few exceptions ready!

Unless the manufacturer specifies, it is not possible to mix the elements that make up a cat-back. For example, taking an intermediate silencer from a brand and setting it up with a rear silencer from another, or even with the original silencer by trapping a cat-back may cause you a compatibility concern. Indeed, the whole reference has been designed without worrying the shape or diameter of origin, and mount it with other risk to see you tubes not fall "in front".

The products of the same reference should not be unfolded by "bridling" improbable mountings with original parts or other marks.

Unless it's designed for that.

Like Ragazzon or Fox for example, they offer intermediate tubes alone, rear silencers alone, which can mount with original parts, sometimes with an optional adapter sleeve..

Only one trick to know is: Read the product description. If it is indicated "compatible with the original line" it means that it is compatible with the original line or the parts of another mark if it is even noted compatible with the original line.
