RacingLine PDM. Flashing Tool and Cable

Welcome to the PDM universe of RacingLine. This module allows you to access the full suite of RacingLine performance software calibrations for your car. With this starter kit, you will receive your connection cable and thus the possibility of injecting your new mapping.

Without this cable, it is impossible to reprogram your vehicle.

What is PDM?

The PDM range is a set of products developed by RacingLine to allow you to reprogram your vehicle. From the additional box to software integrated into your computer. With this new product, Racingline offers you the ability to reprogram your engine or gearbox yourself, directly in the vehicle's computer.

Why choose PDM?

This system was developed by engine engineers. The engine maps that will be offered to you for download are perfectly adapted. This system allows you to do your own engine reprogramming yourself.

How does PDM work?

The starter kit also called "PDM Cable" is a tool that allows you to make the connection between your vehicle and your computer. By purchasing this jumper cable, you can also download the Racingline software to install it on your computer. With this, you have everything you need to choose your cartography (probably sold) and install it.

How to buy PDM?

Buy the starter kit online, from our store, then purchase the mapping next. By purchasing the mapping, you are in fact purchasing a secret code (digital Kay Access) which allows you to unlock the download of the mapping via the software that you have installed.

Which cars?

PDM is not available for all ECU types (ECUs) at this time.

Only 3 known types of motors are currently suitable for the PDM system:

• 2.0 TSI EA888 gen.4
• 2.0 TSI EA888 gen.3
• 2.5 TFSI EA855 EVO

Envious friends?

Interested friends and family? Once you have purchased your PDM unit, as it is not tied to a specific VIN, you can then use the tool as many times as you want, on as many different cars as you want, from the moment you buy the maps. Only maps are locked to a vehicle (by its VIN code).

Return to origin?

At any time.

The PDM system stores your original factory ECU calibration on the RacingLine server. This means you can return to your vehicle's factory ECU programming at any time, quickly and easily.

Go to higher levels.

Have you upgraded your car's hardware? First of all, add the Racingline parts recommended by the manufacturer and flash your vehicle again, Free of charge. All existing “courses” for your vehicles are free. Once you have purchased your first map, you will no longer have to pay anything. Either to move to stage 2 (if available), or return to the origin, at will.

Change between fuel octanes.

Heading to the drag strip? Or are you taking a long trip to an area where you cannot guarantee fuel quality? Simply plug in your PDM to switch to a different fuel octane file for your reprogramming. Most RacingLine performance software calibrations include options of 95, 98 or 102 RON.

RacingLine's intuitive PDM installer software is included with your PDM purchase and will work on your Windows 10 laptop or tablet. Warning: Not MAC compatible!!!

Requirements for Windows-based end-user flashing:

• Windows 10/11 laptop with available USB port
• Laptop power supply
• Secure wired Internet connection (or WiFi very stable)
• Battery charger, 20 A minimum (CTEK brand recommended)
• Electrical outlets available
