When installing on a model other than the Golf Alltrack, it is recommended to verify axle travel and suspension kinematics after installation, as well as to perform a complete wheel alignment.

Installation Notes and Recommendations

• Estimated installation time: approximately 4 to 5 hours with appropriate tools.
• On some models, it may be necessary to remove the driveshaft or axle to extract the strut assemblies (axle bolt replacement recommended: WHT 005 437 – M16x1.5x70).
• On 2018+ Alltrack / Sportwagen 4Motion, some vehicles have a shorter driver-side axle which may generate noise after installation; using the longer axle 5QM 407 271 E is then recommended.
• For large tire setups (≈ 26.5" diameter or more), use the “camber only” setting to limit the risk of rubbing on front and rear fender liners.
