The stainless steel EGR blanking plate is the simplest and most cost-effective solution to protect your HDI engine against carbon buildup. By physically blocking the return of exhaust gases into the intake, you preserve your engine's cleanliness and optimize its efficiency.
Why install an EGR blanking plate?
The Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) system is the primary cause of intake manifold clogging and carbon deposits in diesel engines. Installing this plate allows you to:
- Eliminate black smoke: By ensuring a constant supply of fresh intake air.
- Reduce carbon buildup: Prevents soot formation in the intake manifold and valves.
