RacingLine rim widening shims are made from 7075 T6 aerospace aluminum, heat treated to increase strength and durability, compared to cheaper 6000 alloy shims. They are also covered with black anodizing, to protect the aluminum from dirt and corrosion. They are optimized in weight, while maintaining maximum resistance. They are easy to remove, even after thousands of kilometers, thanks to the cutouts on the back.
