VWR13G700 - RacingLine oil recovery system with decanter for VAG

The Racingline oil control system for MQB chassis allows:

  • - to retain oil in the engine in the event of heavy braking. Without the oil separator, oil will pool at the front of the engine, creating a cloud of smoke and eventually a lack of oil in the engine
  • - Have a three-way baffled reservoir
  • - Collect excess moisture and oil
  • - Protect your intercooler and inlet from oil build-up and ensure clean airflow through the intake manifold

Kit Includes:

- Direct PCV Replacement: The replacement PCV plate offers easy installation.
- Recessed Baffle: The built-in baffle prevents oil from backing up the cylinder head and entering the intake - or worse, weakening the engine
- Machined Precision: The kit's components are machined precision machined using the latest 5-axis CNC machines.
- 210 Series Braided Hoses: The oil lines feature an attractive nylon outer braid reinforced with a stainless steel inner weave for maximum resilience
- Oil Separator: This is not just a reservoir, but a three-way internal divider that ensures the separation of moisture and oil
- Polished Swivel Fittings: Racingline fittings are all hand polished before anodising for a superior finish and to minimise the risk of skin rash
- Oil Dipstick
- Drain Plug
- Windscreen Washer Blanking Plug (R Models ONLY)
- Fitting Kit, containing all necessary bolts, washers and rubber O-rings

About Oil Circulation in EA888.3 Engines

Most users of Racingline oil control systems have found that not all kits are created equal.

Indeed, the most important and unique aspect of this oil management system is that it provides an adequate solution to oil starvation under very heavy braking conditions.

Racingline has learned from motorsport experience that these EA888.3 engines tend to collect a large volume of oil in front of the cylinder head during heavy and prolonged braking. At best, this can lead to clouds of white smoke coming from the exhaust. At worst, without oil returning to the sump, the engine can momentarily ‘run dry’ – enough to have devastating consequences for your engine’s internal components. Which is not really a good thing for your vehicle!

It is therefore not surprising that Racingline shares this same oil management concept with Volkswagen Motorsport, Audi Sport and Cupra for TCR racing cars. The powerful PCV block forces oil back into the catcher under heavy braking to solve this problem once and for all.

Catch Tank Features

Racingline catch tanks are machine welded for:

- The finest possible finish before being coated in our distinctive 'sand blast black' powder coat. All this to ensure that a Racingline tank stands the test of time and retains its appearance
- Easy level measurement with the integrated dipstick
- A drain plug at the base of the tank for easy removal of excess fluids
- A tank that sits on the side of your engine mount and uses the original chassis bolt, whilst maintaining a true original appearance
