To prevent a major breakdown, we recommend regular inspection. On a stock engine, checking every 30,000 km is a good practice. For vehicles with engine modifications (stage 1 or stage 2 tune), this frequency should be reduced to 15,000 km, as the high-pressure pump is subjected to greater stress.
