This intake flap delete kit is designed for BMW 6-cylinder diesel engines (M57, M57N, M57N2). It provides long-term engine reliability and eliminates a well-known risk of failure on these engines.

Why remove the intake flaps?
The intake flaps are a known weakness on these engines. Their failure can cause significant engine damage. Removing the EGR valve prevents random breakage, improves overall reliability, and provides increased torque and power across certain engine speed ranges. This procedure is highly recommended and ideally performed at the same time as cleaning the EGR valve. The plugs are CNC machined, and the high-end seals are selected for their strength and durability. Complete kit, ready to install. Note: Two diameters are available for these engines, corresponding to two separate kits. One kit with a 22 mm diameter and one kit with a 33 mm diameter.
