A sport air filter made in France for BMW E8x and E9x diesels
The Dynaparts DP-ENG-AIRFILTER-BMW-01 air filter fits in place of the original paper filter, in the airbox of BMW diesel 1 Series E81, E82, E87 and E88, 3 Series E90, E91, E92 and E93 and X1 E84, from 116d to 335d. Made in France from oiled cotton, it is washable and reusable: a durable part for engines that rack up the miles.
What you can really expect

- A livelier engine: sharper throttle response and a slightly more present intake sound.

Frequently asked questions
Can an oiled filter damage the MAF sensor?
These diesel engines have a mass air flow sensor. To protect it, oil the filter lightly after each cleaning, without excess, and let it dry fully before refitting.
Do I need a remap to fit it?
No, it works on a stock engine. It is a natural partner for a Stage 1 diesel remap.
How do I maintain it?
Check it about once a year or every 10,000 to 15,000 km, more often on dusty roads. Clean it with a dedicated cotton filter cleaner, rinse with clean water, let it dry fully, then lightly re-oil.
