Egr valve removal cap renault 1.5dci K9K 2nd generation (K9K 6770).

The valves differ depending on the year. The part that accepts the Valve must bear the number 82 00 836 385 or 82 00 846 454 (see inscriptions on the metal). The assembly must be as in the diagram presented in the slideshow.

How do I know if this part is compatible with my vehicle?

We develop plates and kits on EGR valves, not on vehicles. Simply because the same motor or the same valve can be found on a multitude of models. To find out if this product is suitable for your vehicle, simply look at the photos or the list of compatible engines. We post photos of the engine blocks or valves. If you have this one, this product is compatible. It is also possible to send us the photo of your engine by email for a quick response.

How to position/mount this product?

Find a simple explanation of assembly in the photos of the product sheet. An arrow or a drawing guides you and serves as instructions for use. It's actually very simple. If you also wish, find at the bottom of the page a tube of motor silicone to perfect the sealing of the assembly.

A light comes on, what should I do?

On recent engines (generally 2004 and above), it is possible that a light will come on on the dashboard or that the vehicle will go into degraded mode. It is therefore sometimes possible that electronic intervention is necessary to associate electronic deletion with this mechanical deletion.

Why remove the EGR valve?

Always for the sake of gaining power and engine efficiency. We develop and sell parts intended for competition and engine performance. The EGR valve recycles part of the exhaust gases into the intake in order to reduce the quantity of nitrogen oxides (NOx) in the exhaust gases, which are the cause of ozone air pollution and precursors of fine particles. This technique, beyond clogging the engine and generating clouds of black smoke, impoverishes the air/fuel mixture. By adding exhaust gas to the fresh air, the vehicle is more windy. By blocking the EGR valve, you improve the quality of the mixture burned. You therefore increase engine efficiency and engine torque. Your vehicle will therefore be more powerful and torquey. Ideal for gaining a few hundredths at the start of races.
