VAG MQB EVO Start&Stop Deactivation Module.

Disable the start & stop function on your Golf 8, Skoda Octavia, Cupra Formentor, and any other vehicle equipped with the 5WB907530K module.

Easy to connect, our module takes over the CAN bus relay from the wiring harness and disables the start&stop system without requiring any programming via a diagnostic tool.

Please note: This module is only compatible with vehicles originally equipped with a button on the dashboard to control the start&stop system.

Easy to install: simply unclip the cover under the steering wheel and connect it in series to the Gateway module's connector (identical connector).

The Start & The Start & Stop system automatically shuts off the engine when the vehicle is stopped to reduce fuel consumption and emissions, primarily in urban driving. Modern engines are designed to withstand this operation without immediate risk. However, in heavy traffic or on short journeys, frequent restarts increase the stress on the starter motor, the battery (AGM/EFB), and certain mechanical components. Deactivating the Start & Stop system can therefore help preserve these components in the long term. Deactivating it also improves driving comfort: smoother starts, better engine responsiveness, and more stable air conditioning operation, especially in hot weather or during repeated maneuvers. Conversely, leaving the system active allows for a slight fuel saving and reduced emissions in the city. The choice therefore depends on your needs: comfort and mechanical peace of mind, or environmental optimization.
